As a Traffic Officer Trainee, you will:
Respond in a timely manner to customer enquiries relating to traffic management and road safety.
Maintain appropriate systems to manage and prioritise initiatives and requests for improvements to traffic and road safety.
Prepare documentation for the Canterbury Bankstown Traffic Committee process, as required.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on traffic management and road safety issues.
Ensure community consultation for traffic management works conforms to Council’s Communications Protocol.
Provide advice on traffic and transport matters in accordance with Australian Standards, AustRoads, RMS technical guidelines and Council’s policies.
Develop and review traffic management and road safety related projects.
Assess and provide Traffic and Parking comments for Development Applications

The opportunity is offered on a Temporary Full-Time basis, for 1 Year. Core hours days/hours of work Monday-Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm.
You will have:
Class C drivers licence.
Be an undergraduate/ have completed at least a year of Full time Studies in Civil Engineering or a similar Discipline.
- Salary from $38,620 per annum + 10.5% super.
