The Ministry of Highways, Traffic Guidance is seeking a Sign Truck Operator for the Sign Crew headquartered in Saskatoon.
Under the supervision of the Sign Crew Supervisor, you will be responsible for the maintenance and installation of provincial highways signs in an assigned geographical area. Duties include supervision of a Level 4 Assistant Sign Truck Operator on a daily basis. This position involves extensive travel throughout the province requiring the individual to be away from home up to five days a week, as well as working in extreme and changing climate conditions.
Candidates must hold a valid Class 1A driver’s licence and must complete Digger/Derrick certification within probation period.
Candidates must be able to perform the duties of this position in a safe manner. A criminal record check and driver’s abstract will be a requirement of this job.
