Support the administration of specific grants programs to better the communities of NSW

Full-time temporary full-time opportunity until June 2025 – Nowra or Sydney based, other NSW locations negotiable (hybrid office and working from home model)

Generous salary available, ranging from $87,493 – $96,540 + super (Clerk Grade 5/6)

The Office of Local Government (OLG) is seeking a Program Officer – Grants who will be responsible for assisting in the grants administration process across multiple NSW flood grant funding programs.

You will support the facilitation, coordination, governance and administration of the grants process. You will also prepare a range of program-related documents for key stakeholders as required, including status updates, reports, budgets and discussion papers to manage the flow of information.

The Program Officer is also the initial point of contact and liaison person for Council staff to direct queries to about the specific grant programs.

About You

To be successful in this role you will be a highly motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment

You will have strong communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders. You will also be effective at managing your own workload to balance competing demands within tight timeframes.

You will also be confident in providing sound advice and be capable of managing a high volume of enquiries.
