The Environmental Protection Branch is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to provide program support functions to the branch including maintenance of correspondence and project distribution, client and program support services.

As the successful candidate, you will possess strong computer skills with the ability to create accurate documents using software such as Microsoft Word and Excel. You will be required to utilize information management systems to manage a wide variety of documentation and information. Experience with Client Relationship Management systems or other information management systems is a requirement. You will also be responsible for administrative and operational file management.

You will bring good communication and client service skills to respond to inquiries from the public and other government branches and ministries. Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when working with sensitive issues is essential. The ability to organize and prioritize your workload, manage several tasks simultaneously, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines is critical to the success of this position.

The competencies required in this position would typically be obtained through significant experience in a program, administrative support role or a combination of related experience and education. Working knowledge of a wide range of environmental protection program areas would be an asset.
