SoluStaff is recruiting for a remote GIS programmer for its customer, a large government organization in Philadelphia. The GIS programmer will assist in the development of a secure web-based GIS system (Geographic Information Systems) for evaluating and prioritizing traffic calming requests. This candidate will work closely with the GIS Project Manager, our client and consultants to ensure the system is developed according to requirements and meets the needs of the organization.
Responsibilities
Support the GIS Project Manager kickoff, bi-weekly, and closeout meetings.
Communicate with GIS Project Manager, vendors, and consultants
Develop and deploy a web-based GIS traffic calming request system using an agile framework
Prepare final administrative and user documentation
Requirements
Experience with ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, and Web-based mapping, such as Web App Builder and ArGIS Instant Apps
Experience GIS data analysis
Experience GIS application development
Experience with ESRI Portal and ArcGIS Server
Experience with building ETL Processes and using Model Builder
Experience preparing system documentation
Highly Desired/Preferred
Experience with traffic management and associated data
Experience with Cityworks AMS
