Salary Range: $43,758.80 to $49,357.30 annually
Position is located in Richmond and the successful candidate is expected to work in the office full-time during the probationary period. Upon training completion and satisfactory performance, WCAT’s work at home agreement allows for working from home up to a maximum of two days per week.

WCAT is an independent, quasi-judicial tribunal that operates under Part 7 of the Workers Compensation Act. It provides a final decision on applications and appeals from parties who are not satisfied with a decision they received from WorkSafeBC. Topics include, compensation claims, employer assessments, occupational safety and health, prohibited action claims, applications by employers for relief of costs, and certifications to court. These decisions impact thousands of workers and employers in B.C. every year.
The finance and facilities clerk provides a full range of finance and facility services to approximately 131 FTEs. These services include accounts payable, contract administration, coordinating travel arrangements, accommodations and hearing facilities for vice chairs travelling to oral hearings around the province, facilities administration and ensuring the safety and security of staff and visitors to WCAT. This will be an exciting opportunity to utilize and expand your facilities skills as WCAT will be engaging in an upcoming, large-scale facilities project.

Secondary School Diploma or GED equivalent; OR
An equivalent combination of education/training/experience may be considered.
Minimum 2 years of clerical experience/education/training (This must include a minimum 1 year experience/education/training in a financial position)
Experience working with various computer applications and databases including a financial accounting system
Preference will be given to applicants with experience ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment
Preference will be given to applicants with experience providing facilities services
Preference will be given to applicants with facilities experience in coordinating or supporting a medium-scale office move
